I created this website to share one of my favorite hobbies with you. As a passionate TTRPG enthusiast, I've been diving deep into the world of role-playing games—both solo and group play—for years, and I wanted to help other people discover and enjoy these amazing hobbies.

For Solo and Group Players

While this site has "Solo" in its name, it's not exclusively for solo RPG players. Whether you're a solo player exploring adventures on your own, a group player looking for new games and resources, or someone who enjoys both styles of play, you'll find content here that speaks to your interests.

Solo RPGs offer a unique perspective on traditional tabletop role-playing games, where you are playing as both the player and the game master. You are simultaneously building the world around you and playing in it. I love solo RPGs because they offer different advantages from traditional group play. Don't get me wrong - I still enjoy playing TTRPGs with friends - but there's something intrinsically fun about solo RPGs. I can play whenever I want, for as long as I want, with whichever games I prefer and the rules that make me happy.

Solo RPGs offer me a lot of freedom compared to coordinating schedules with a group. They're also a really good way for me to explore new games and test new systems before introducing them to my regular gaming group.

But group play has its own magic—the collaborative storytelling, the shared moments of triumph and failure, the social connection that comes from gathering around a table (or screen) with friends. Many of the games, techniques, and resources I share here work beautifully in both solo and group contexts.

Here on the website, I publish longer-format, in-depth content that Substack's length restrictions don't accommodate. You'll find comprehensive product reviews, detailed play tests, character creation guides, and other deep dives into solo RPGs.

In the future, I plan to add more features to enhance the website experience, including the ability to leave comments, like and share articles, and save your favorite posts for easy reference.

I want to write honest reviews, but also share tips on how I play, including my current physical and digital setup.
